I am Nazmul Hossain, a Bangladeshi student leader and social activist. Currently, I serve as the Organising Secretary of Bangladesh Students’ League, Madaripur District Unit.
During my university years, I became actively involved in student politics through the Bangladesh Students’ League, where my dedication and leadership led me to my current role. Alongside politics, I have also been deeply engaged in social and youth development, serving as President of Rotaract Club of Shyamoli Dhaka (2012–2013) and JCI Dhaka Young (2021). In 2004, I was honored to serve as the National Executive Vice President of JCI Bangladesh.
I have had the privilege of representing Bangladesh at international youth platforms, including the Rotary Youth Leadership Award at George Washington University, USA (2014), the JCI Asia-Pacific Conference in Japan (2018), and South Korea (2019).
Through these experiences, I continue to advocate for student rights, youth empowerment, and meaningful social change in Bangladesh.
My political journey began with a simple dream to serve people. Since becoming Organizing Secretary of Madaripur Chhatra League in 2017, I’ve learned leadership is about purpose, not power. Every challenge has deepened my commitment to be a voice for the people.
Through JCI and student leadership, I’ve empowered young people to lead, believe in themselves, and bring positive change. I firmly believe youth empowerment is key to national progress.
Leadership starts at the grassroots. I stay engaged in rural communities listening, solving issues, and supporting education because real change begins with the people. This ongoing connection keeps my work grounded in the needs of everyday citizens.
Politics isn’t just about speeches or positions, it’s about real connections, real work. My journey is built on meeting people, understanding their struggles, and turning those insights into action.
